The stupid little fat people are a thing I’ve been drawing since high school. They just are. 

Who are you?

I’m Jai. I do this.

Where do you get your ideas?

From fashion magazines, mainly. Also a lot from my friends. I draw them a lot. And sometimes history. And video games and pop culture, and everywhere, really.

Why are you doing this? 

Well, that depends on whether you want the real answer or the one I’ve fabricated to sound smart.

The real answer is because my friend told me to draw what I’m good at, and I said, that would be stupid little fat people, forever.

The fabricated answer is that the stupid little fat people are a way of showing how ridiculous the fashions and conventions of fashion photography are, once you remove the beautiful people, and reduce them to the same squishy amorphous people.
